Treatment of corona in the state, treatment by doctors according to the symptoms of the disease
The first case of corona in Gujarat was reported in Rajkot. The patient reached home after being fully discharged from the corona virus after a fortnight of intensive treatment at the Civil Hospital here and was discharged today. The city is currently treating patients with nine positive cases of corona but, if their condition is improving, most will also be discharged, medical sources said.
While thousands have died of coronary heart disease abroad, this deadly disease has created a great fear among the people. If patients and their families are taken care of and treated in time, the chances of recovery are the same in Rajkot in Saurashtra. In this regard, Dr. PP Rathore said that a young man named Nadeem, who lives in Jungleshwar area, after returning from a pilgrimage to Mecca with others, was shifted to the hospital where he was diagnosed with corona symptoms where his samples were taken.
His sample failed at Jamnagar laboratory, i.e. Corona was found to be positive and samples were sent to Pune for further confirmation and there was also a positive report. Twelve people who came in contact with him were quarantined at Pathikashram. Today, these 12 patients have also recovered and proceedings were initiated to discharge them.
While District Health Officer Dr. Mitesh Bhanderi and Civil Superintendent Dr. Manish Mehta said that the patient was re-sampled twice on 31st and yesterday on 1st, both of which were negative. Treatment is based on the patient's symptoms and physical condition. This was the first positive case in Gujarat and it has to be confirmed that even if it has recovered before discharge, it does not contain a virus that can spread to others. After the process, tears were shed in the eyes of the family members who gave him leave to go home today and emotional scenes were created.
Rajkot is currently treating six corona positive patients, all of whom are in stable condition and two more are expected to be discharged tomorrow and almost all are expected to recover gradually, medical sources said. No one is kept on the ventilator. A total of 12 people have been given leave from isolation in the city while the number of people kept at home quarantine has come down from 9 to 203 today, while the number of people kept at Pathikashram, Trimandir has come down from 9 to 6 today.
On the other hand, in Rajkot today, 12 more reports have come negative, including 3 from the city district, while in Jamnagar, 4 reports from cities including Porbandar have also come negative. Not a single positive case has been reported in Rajkot in three days which is considered a promising situation but, there is still an urgent need for vigilance. Not a single case of corona has been reported in Gir Somnath district today. Thus, the number of suspected cases has also come down in Saurashtra.
