hello friends......

After the lockdown was declared across the country, many shopkeepers and traders are taking advantage of this situation and are charging higher prices and blackmailing any shopkeeper or trader or medical store seller. You have more than the original price of any item or medicine. If so, you can complain to the Consumer Center.
Ahmedabad Tirtha Consumer Education and Research Center has also started a helpline for this. Customers can complain by calling the Centre's helpline number 1800 233 0222. The Center also provides counseling by talking to the customer as well as the merchant.
In this regard, Uday Mawani, CEO, Ahmedabad Education and Research Center, said, "After the lockdown was announced, many customers have complained to our helpline. So far, we have received 500 to 600 complaints, especially those related to ration cards." There are also complaints of higher prices being charged by traders.
Customers can lodge any customer related complaint on our toll free helpline number. We also resolve them immediately. A record of the complaints received by the Center on a daily basis is prepared and handed over to the Food and Supply and Consumer Affairs Department of the Government of Gujarat. The report also tells the government how many complaints were received, what types of complaints were received and how many were acted upon and how many complaints were resolved.
